Where have they hidden live rep chat

I am in a country where I cannot connect to my ATT service and I need to get help from a live rep, HOW?

I keep getting run in circles with automated chats that want me to sign into an account that I can't sign into.  HELP!  This is really rotten ATT support.

accounts are locked from access outside of the US your only route is to call the prepaid international support number as prepaid does not have chat availability

Mine is not a prepaid account.  I was able to find a chat about a month ago.  I cannot get service on my ATT phone here in DRC  to call the ATT number even at great expense.

I have my own phone.  I have no contract with ATT that I must use their service for x months.  Does that mean that I do or do not have a prepaid account. 

Also, how do I get to where ever my post has gone?

if it says its required to use on at&t for 6 months then it will never be unlocked, sounds like you bought it from a 3rd party or used, at&t wont unlock it until the requirements are met regardless

No, it does not say that I have to use ATT for a fixed length of time.  My phone is not locked. 

Does that mean that mine is a prepaid account or not prepaid account.

Where is my post now?  It was moved to some other forum.

@formerlyknownas can you make sense of what the op is asking? he is saying he has no at&t service and his phone is not locked my heads spinning in circles here

I am in the Democratic Republic of Congo now.  I will put my ATT sim card in my original phone and see if I can get service.  I put it in a different phone and it said 'no service'.  Maybe then I can reach international service.  I will let you know.
