Stackable discounts

I have the Signature discount and I also have the discount of having internet and wireless. Although my account has the Signature discount emblem it doesn’t give me the discount on my bill. When I called the customer service representative they told me that the internet combo discount and Signature discount is stackable but it appears to not be giving me that one. Can anyone help me with this question. Thank you.

What plan do you have? Signature discounts don’t necessarily apply to every plan.

Thank you for verifying your AT&T Wireless plan, Frustrated73.

Those AT&T customers like yourself who are subscribed to the AT&T UNLIMITED PREMIUM Plan are eligible for the Signature discount.

  • How long have you enrolled and approved for the Signature discount? It may take 1-2 bill cycles before the discount appears on your bill.

If you've recently enrolled in the Signature program, make sure to check your email folders including Junk or Spam as it's likely that you will receive a follow up email if additional documents are needed.

Also, as it relates to the check that the AT&T Internet Deal for Wireless Customers you will want to make sure that the wireless activation billing address matches the Internet billing address and that you're enrolled in AT&T AutoPay Paperless Billing. After the bill cycles, you should be good to go!

Reach back out to us to let us know how this goes. If you still need assistance then we will need to meet in a Direct Message for further investigation into your experience.

This is the deal. I originally was the account owner but my wife is the one with the job that qualifies. The AT&T rep that sold us our phones told us that it wouldn’t matter who the account owner was. Well of course that was wrong so we switched responsibility for the bill to my wife. On her first bill it gave us the Signature discount and internet discount. But since the first partial bill we haven’t gotten it. The wife called the next two bill cycles and they applied the discount and she specifically asked if this would be a normal occurrence and they said “NO”. Well of course our last two bill cycles have NOT had that discount on it. We are tired of calling (customer service when we have called has been great) every month to get something that we should be getting automatically. The one reason we don’t understand is it took the first month but not the next two months. And so now here we sit debating whether to call again.

Thank you for sharing this information @Frustrated73, we understand wanting to have a correct bill. We're here to clear this up.

Unfortunately, the Signature Program discount and the 25% off wireless service with an existing internet account aren't stackable. This information can be found on 25% wireless discount page by clicking See offer details and checking the "Limits:" section of the first paragraph, where it's mentioned this discount isn't stackable with Signature or Appreciation Offer discounts.

On the Signature Program page, you can find this information after clicking See details and looking in the "After that, you'll get:" section where it states that this discount may not be stackable with other offers or discounts.

For this reason, you'll be unable to get both the rate discount of $10 off with the Signature Program and the 25% wireless discount at the same time. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for responding. The second representative we talked to said they were stackable. I feel with everyone we talked to has not known all the pertinent information on any given subject. I would think if they weren’t stackable then the two months in a row they wouldn’t have given the manual credit for it. Just wish every employee was on the same page. I did read the Signature details but it said “may not be stackable with other credits” but it didn’t list them and I wasn’t aware of the info on the 25%.

The other thing that bothers me is our first bill we got both discounts but after that the Signature fell off. Did the policy change after our first bill?  Why would managers approve the credit for it the next two bills?  It makes no sense.

We completely understand your confusion, @Frustrated73

Based on the context so far, these are likely courtesy credits that were given out for the past two billing cycles, as the promotion policy hasn't changed. We'd like to meet in a DM to submit feedback about this experience, our message to you will be found in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

We look forward to chatting with you.

I don’t know about them being courtesy credits as they said we should have gotten the Signature discount. The managers approved them and again we were told we were supposed to be getting both. It just makes no sense that on the first bill we got both discounts but none after. If they weren’t stackable then why did first bill generate both discounts?
