Wifi and bluetooth problems combined

I have a note 9, and when the phone is connected via bluetooth to my truck, it has issues with the truck's built-in wifi system.  The truck operates on the att network and has 4glte internet.  My old note 5 worked normal and my work iPhone works normal, which means it has to be the phone, not the truck.  The wifi will drop speeds and periodically not work.  As soon as I disconnect the bluetooth, the wifi on the phone works normal and fast.   Has anyone had this issue?

Hello @Gbikerider760,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why you're experiencing this issue with your Wi-Fi connection. We'll need some more details in order for us to better assist you. How long has this been going on? Is your cell phone's software up to date? What kind of truck are you using the built-in Wi-Fi system with? Please let us know. We look forward to hearing back from you.

It actually started when I got the new note 9 in December of 2018. My previous asus zen phone, and previous note 5 did not have the issue with my truck.  The truck is a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd with the built in wifi from onstar.   I do not know what frequency it uses.  My phone is up to date and has all the latest software.  I have replaced the phone with a new unit after taking it to an att store and showing them the problem as well as a Samsung rep also was there to see the issue.  The phone was replaced and it still had the same issue.  Which tells me it is a software or hardware issue with the bluetooth on the note 9.

Hello @Gbikerider760

How about outside of the truck - are you able to establish to a stable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connection, simultaneously, using the replaced Note9?

Both will work simultaneously outside the truck however when you start drawing on the data,  the speed drops drastically.  Down to 5 mbps and then disconnects.  Then leaving the wifi connected and turning off the wifi, the phone can stream YouTube videos fast and works normal.  I have an iPhone 8 for work and have paired it to the truck and connected to the wifi and it has no issues.

Hi @Gbikerider760,

We understand.

Are you pairing multiple devices when testing the connection? If so, this may be the reason as to why your connection would dip in quality. If not, the problem would have to lie with your device, since you mentioned the iPhone working without issues.

We look forward to hearing back from you!

No. I have deleted all devices off my bluetooth list in my truck. So only the note 9 connects.  Same with my old galaxy s4 also works normal when bluetooth and wifi connected to truck. Which again tells me it's the note 9 software or something. Could be the bluetooth frequency and the wifi frequency being 2.4 ghz?
