New Construction home/fiber net

I live in SC. I currently have fiber net at my rental. I want to transfer it when I move to my new (construction) home in a few weeks. When I check my address, it is not in the system. When I check my neighbors' address, it isn't in the system either, but I have been assured by other neighbors on the same street that there is fiber net. How do I go about getting my new address in At&t's system so that it will recognize and allow me to transfer my account to the new address?

Hi there, @ahuggett. We understand that you are needing to move your service to a new location. We would love to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

We suggest you check the availability of the address by using the Moving Your Service site and click on the blue "Check availability" button. Just type in the new address and you can make sure that AT&T is in that area.

Now if services are available, then you should be able to start the move process right there online.

For further assistance with getting your service transferred, you'll want to call our move services department at 844-886-4258. They'll be able to assist you further with getting your move request properly addressed.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, and we'll be happy to help. Thanks for reaching out on the AT&T Community Forums!
