Anything I can do to get faster speeds with my 1gbps fiber?

Disclaimer, I'm writing here because there were no posts from 2020 in my search. So, as stated above, I am looking for some method to enhance my wifi/ethernet speed on my fiber 1gbps plan. As of now, I am seeing download speeds of ~300-350 Mbps with ethernet and VERY slow speeds over wifi maxing out at 20-30 Mbps but consistently dropping to Kbps, which is unacceptable. Both these speeds are from my Xbox. On my smart home manager app, the test i just ran comes in at 661 Mbps download and 917 upload. This is what I pay for but do not get. Yes, I have my laptop open while running this test, but my biggest issue is through ethernet I'm not even reaching half of what is expected (940Mbps). Was hoping someone out there could help me out or point me in the right direction.
