Are you phones WiFi-C (WiFi Calling) capable? That is the preferred method to improve poor in-home coverage. You can also purchase the Cell Booster which is AT&T's version of a femtocell. It uses your internet connection to reach the AT&T Mobility Servers. However, you need a post paid AT&T cellular account and a land-based (DSL, cable, or fiber) internet service. The other option is to purchase an actual cellular booster. There are links in my sig line, one for the Cell Booster an one for Cellular Boosters that will give you more information.

We understand you're experiencing poor network coverage, and we want to help confirm why, @jjposhea.
We also appreciate the additional help that our ACE @OttoPylot has provided to you.
After further review, we've confirmed that there are no known outages in your area and all surrounding towers are in good condition. As previously suggested, to avoid poor network connection in your home we'd advise for you to set up WiFi calling on a capable device.
To confirm if your device is WiFi capable, we'd suggest for you to review our list of approved devices.
Feel free to reach back out to update us with the make and model of your device so that we're able to provide detailed device support.
We do hope this option helps, and thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.
