Calls and texts do come on phone with new cell booster
I just received a new 5G microcell from AT&T but whenever I turn it on we connect but don’t seem to receive calls and sometimes even texts (or texts are really delayed). Turned phones off and on to reconnect but no luck. Phone seem to work okay using WiFi-C. Any ideas?

@gcmballred What do you mean turn it on? It should be left turned on (powered) all of the time. And yes, it is an LTE device only.
If WiFi-C works for you, then you don't really need the Cell Booster. To properly use the Cell Booster, you should leave WiFi-C disabled but WiFi enabled. Or, if you use WiFi-C, disable the Cell Booster but again, leave WiFi enabled. Whichever method you use, always leave WiFi enabled for data.
More information about your setup would be useful.

The phones are both iPhone 11 which I believe are 5G.

@gcmballred I believe iPhone 12 and above are 5G, not the 11. I have an iPhone 12 and it indeed is 5G capable (we have one of the Unlimited plans which is 5G). Besides, it doesn't make any difference as the Cell Booster is LTE only, not 5G. If you are in doubt, got to Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> Voice & Data and see if you have any options. If 5G On, 5G Auto, or LTE is listed, then your phone is 5G capable. If nothing is listed, then your phone will always use LTE as that is the only band it can connect to.
You need to leave WiFi enabled if you are using the Cell Booster as that will force all data to use your WiFi connection so voice will only be used on the cellular LTE. If you use WiFi-C (WiFi Calling), which is preferred, make sure that you keep WiFi enabled and the Cell Booster powered off. This is explained in my Tech Guide.
