Billing for femtocell usage?

If I read the docs on service billing for the femtocell, it sounds like all data, (including voice and text) that passes through the femtocell counts against against my plan’s data allowance. If so, to me that implies that _all_voice and texts which usually wouldn’t count against my data allowance when hitting a regular cell tower will do so when hitting the femtocell. Thereby rendering my talk and text no longer truly “unlimited” or “included” in my plan whenever the femtocell is used. Is that accurate? If so, that seems rather misleading and unfair for a couple of reasons not the least of which is that I, rather than AT&T, pay for the Internet connection the data is being carried across.

@Mpkllc  Calls made and received via the Cell Booster are just like being connected to a macrocell (tower) so data usage would be the same. What is highly recommended  is that you leave WiFi enabled all of the time. That way data goes thru WiFi and only voice goes thru the Cell Booster, depending on how well your phone handles that. It's the same as it was with the old MicroCell.

I used the MicroCell for years and never saw a hit on my ISP data plan or my cellular plan what wasn't expected.

If you're concerned about the Cell Booster usage, then the recommendation is to switch to WiFi-C (WiFi Calling) and not even bother with the Cell Booster (femtocell).
