Can’t get into email getting code 205.2

Since yesterday morning I have not been able to get into my email. I have tried logging in and I get error code 205.2. I have not changed my password for it to tell me I’ve made too many attempts. When I go to reset my password after it matches my email address and name it won’t accept any of my answers to the questions in order to reset my password. I have tried my phone, the app, different browsers on my computer. I tried the chat several times but I keep getting automated responses. Please help!

Let's get you logged back into your email again, @Gato0.

 

If you're getting a care code error 205.2 when signing in to your email, we recommend that you wait a full 24 hours before resetting your password. Attempting to sign in before the full 24 hours will reset the 24-hour timer.

 

You can reset your email password by following these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Resetting your email password should allow you to log back in without issue.
