BGW320 Signal Strength?

Is the BGW320 signal strength "stronger" than my T-P Link WDR3600 wireless router's? I'm curious to know because I'm considering switching to AT&T, and I'm wondering if I should disable the BGW320 wifi and use it as a modem only rather than replacing my router with it.
