wireless account and billing issue

I saw an on TV that I could trade in any samsung device and receive a New

Samsung free

of charge. I took my S8 in and decidedly on S22 ultra and was told I would begin seeing the credits after

2nd or 3rd billing.

That hasn't happened and when I call they say the phone didn't qualify except for $35.00i am extremely upset about this whole SCAM.

yes it is scam, trade in deduct after 3 billing period and as long as the end of payment plan, if you pay off early your promotion deduct will cease , basically they will have your trade in device free, they stole from you or they bind you in contract with them for the rest of the payment plan.

It's not a contract, but, yes; AT&T does expect to receive something in return for offering a free or heavily discounted phone. It's call business.

@patsyell If that was the “any Samsung, any condition” promotion, your s8 should have qualified provided you also have a qualifying unlimited data plan. If you are sure you qualified, don’t accept what they told you on the phone. You should file an FCC or BBB complaint to escalate to corporate.

advise people to not trade in, donate or sell it less than trade in still feel better
