Update payment method, will Auto payment takes the payment or I need to process manually ?
Hi there, I am currently on my cycle, based on a postpaid service, my due date is on the 9th of this month, (Otcober 2021) I have updated my payment method from checking account to credit card. my question is. Will the payment that is schedulled to be taken on the 7th slides off and I need to make it manually for this month? and if so, then the next cycle continues to be taken from my credit card or there is a time frame in which the new payment method kicks in? Thank you in advance.

I believe your October payment will still be taken from your checking account and your new payment method won’t kick in until the next bill. If for some reason your payment isn’t taken on the 7th, you have 2 days to manually pay. That is the main reason autopay executes 2 days early. Be aware that going forward your credit card payment will occur much sooner. Credit card payments are taken 6 days after the start of your bill cycle. They are essentially processed as soon as your bill is generated.
