I have been a at&t customer about 2 years I've had numerous issues and disruptions to my service. I am also a small business owner and depend on my phone to continue to have business progress long story boring. On feb21st I went into a At&t store and made a $140 payment the amount requested was 113.00 not more than 2 days later my phones is shut off I contact customer care to find that I've been hit with a 1200.00 line deposit I have 4 lines so 300 per line 1 lines been on since July of 2021. The other about 8 months or so I then bought a watch and added 1 more line so I had 4 working lines at this point 1 month later after I'd made 2 payments I'm blindsided with this 1200 no notice my phone shut off I can't receive calls or call out has put my busines out of busines at the moment I have 3 kids and a wife that all depend on my income and right now I have 0 income this company has put my busines and my family's future in jeopardy my next step is to call the attorney General I've had similar situations happen in the past and I just paid them unfortunately I don't have the funds at the moment as I just spent everything on new saws and trimming equipment if anybody has any advice I'd truly be grateful I've been to 5 different stored called for 4 days straight and I'm in the same poation just more defeated. How is it ethical that I receive a paper bill 10 days after they shut my phone down and it too shows nothing of these charges. I'm calling attorneys as of today considering I bill 4k a day and can prove loss of business due to the unannounced shutoff.
