Switcher Program is a SCAM and a LIE
Ok AT&T, I've had enough. Switching from Verizon has been the worst and most frustrating process I have ever had with customer service and operations. We are still out over 400 dollars because you lost our old phones after telling us exactly how to send them. I have spoken with your customer service department, loyalty, trade-in, and your switcher departments and have emailed escalated tickets, etc.
DO NOT switch to ATT from Verizon. The process is awful and a lie.
At this point, we have wasted so much time being passed around from phone call to phone call, department to department, even after reaching a potential settlement. Given that we were willing to switch our plans over, and could have been happy customers for a while, this is incredibly disappointing, and your company shouldn't get away with this. We have been reasonable and patient, and at this point, we are fed up.
We will be requesting your assistance in providing the UIDs of every employee we have spoken to from Loyalty, General Customer Service, Trade In, as well as the switcher program,

Having the same sorts of problems with this program. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will let everyone I know not to use this program. So regret it.

I dont have enough time to spell out how bad they screwed me in detail. Wasn't even looking to change was calling about my dtv. Girl asked about cell phone told me they covered where I live. 1st LIE. Then said would port my numbers give me 450 a line to cover pay offs on Verizon. Newer version s of phones only paying for one out of 3 phones. What a sweet deal I agreed she repeated deal multiple times because I wanted it clarified. Even sent to Superviser to confirm details and finish process. 2 mos later dozens of phone calls ruined Christmas and over 1200 dollars out of my pocket between them and paying off Verizon. They have my Verizon phones wont give em back and wont give anything for them. Treating me like a criminal. [Per Guidelines: Keep it Relevant and Appropriate]. AT&T HAS WORST SERVICE AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

No one made you switch. You could have said no. You could have tested the service by moving one line.
That’s why every single carrier has 3 days to back out without charges and 14 days to back out with minimum charges. If you stayed, that’s on you.

Same problem, they never turned the phones in to Sprint, kept the phones and had to pay Sprint what wS left to pay. It was alwful, they gave us the run around , and I told them, when I called I didn’t understand why you all kept the phones when I could have turned it in myself. Now I see , terrible.

Part of the switcher program included trading in your current phones to AT&T. You were given a trade-in credit for doing so. It is your responsibility to pay Sprint applicable charges. It's the customer's responsibility to determine which path will be the most financially beneficial.
