Reduced Rate Suspension
Hi, I requested for reduced rate suspension in August this year and I was told that I would be billed a monthly recurring charge of $10.00. However, my last two bills (Sep & Oct) show that I was charged full amount. I am currently abroad and I wasn't sure if I could use Wi-Fi calling to contact customer service while it was uncertain that my service was successfully suspended.
I would like to solve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.

Allow us to point you in the right direction @chunje!
Please be aware that voluntary suspension on a wireless account will include the $10.00 charge, surcharges/taxes, and monthly device installment charge (if your current device is on an active installment plan).
To be of assistance to you while abroad, please contact our AT&T International Support Team at: +1.314.925.6925 which are available 24/7
We hope this helps, and thanks for reaching out to us.

Thanks for the information! @ATTHelp
Is it possible to make a call even if I am on reduced rate suspension?

Greetings @chunje!
You should be able to place that free call from your device or just chat with an agent here. Simply scroll to the bottom of the page until you reach the Chat button which you will want to click in order to begin a session.
We hope this info helps.

I was told by an agent via the ATT app chat that on a reduced rate suspension the fee you pay is the $10. That the installment payments and the data payments are suspended as well. Yet, from what I understand, you’re saying that the installment payments are NOT suspended and you continue to pay that as well as the $10 fee. Is this correct or am I misunderstanding your prior statement?

@bbaker9586 You are not misinterpreting the previous statement. The installment plan is not suspended.
