Are you a brand new AT&T customer and this is your first bill?
When you read the bill does it show a $30 activation fee? Does it show that the dates include more than one month service, a full month as a partial month?
Did you purchase a phone? Even if you participate in a promotion, promotional credits don't kick in on the first bill and the full installment will show.
Also the auto-pay and paperless billing credit, if you signed up right away, will not be discounted until your first bill is paid with auto pay and paperless billing.
All that on the bill? Yup, first bill may add up to twice what the normal bill will be.
