Not a customer, getting bills
I am not a customer. I was never a customer. I tried to be and they couldn’t “verify my identity.” Great moving on. I still get monthly bill via email AND paper with an account number and a balance of $0. I have messaged in chats, called, etc to remind that I am not a customer and no longer wish to be contacted. What does a person need to do to make it stop? It’s beyond obnoxious.

Unfortunately only the account owner can change the address At&t won’t share any account info with you but is it really that difficult to trash it along with all the ads that get set. First world issues🤦♂️

@Constructive A monthly bill for $0? Sounds like the OP is the account owner and this is some sort of computer or billing error where an account got created even though service was never established.
@Mrose File an FCC or BBB complaint to escalate to corporate. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you. Presuming this is your account, they’ll get it properly cancelled and the bills will stop.

@Constructive I’m actively trying to reduce waste. I don’t get ads and magazines because I work hard to avoid just throwing things away for the sake of it. It may sound like a first world problem complaint but it’s less about it being annoying and more about it being a contributor to unnecessary waste.
