If you're looking for a plan for seniors, that's what consumer Cellular is for. AT&T like most postpaid service providers is catering to the larger audience, families. Consumer Cellular is marketed for singles or couples, over 65
It runs on at&t.
Like anything else it's a matter of efficiency.
