International Add-Ons

I have 7 lines on my account--I want to make sure I wouldn't get any surprise charges since friends/family on the account may engage in international travel in the near future.

When I check "Manage add-ons" on each of the lines, they all have "Travel at pay-per-use rate" enabled and nothing else. My questions are:

  1. What happens if I remove the "Travel at pay-per-use rate" add-on and they were to travel overseas?
  2. Is it recommended that I preemptively add the "International Day Pass" add-on to each line so I wouldn't get any surprise bills due to them using the pay-per-use rates?

Yes, it’s possible to remove the international pay per use feature and without it, they most likely won’t be able roam internationally. I know in the past customers have complained about not getting roaming service and adding that feature to their line was the fix.

1. I'm not sure. Is it even possible?

2. Yes, that's your best bet. That way you know that even if there's unintentional overseas usage, it's at most $10 a day.
