I was told AT&T was not turning off prepaid service

I was told by a representative that At&T was not going to suspend services for anyone including pre paid. It is sad that the largest provider of cell service and its rep are full of S@&T when U.S Cellular and t mobile and boost all care about people but AT&T dont. #timetoswitch

Boost is also prepaid service. They are doing the same thing as ATT. Sorry that ATT rep gave you bad information. They should have known. When your prepaid plan expires, you are not suspended, your service expires. There is a difference though to you, not much difference.

I don’t know about US Cellular but Boost’s web site does not say anything about suspending cut offs. There are many false reports on social media. Here is the only information posted for customers unable to pay:

What if I’m unable to make my payment?

what these people have done in my case is charged me for the next month for 2 lines and not able to make calls or texts from any of them.

Rather than helping they seem to cheat people in this circumstances, and their pre-paid customer is just lousy to give any true explanation. The company should be held accountable for this !!
