i need a way to get in contact with higher ranking AT&T management to fix my account and to stop the thievery.

I feel honestly as if i have worked harder to keep atts service rather than be appreciated and retained by att. It feels almost as if att just doesnt want my business and i couldn't begin to think why.

As i stated the the information provided from your records is what i used to get my calculations but to reiterate even those are wrong. I am being over charged on a monthly basis in a regular situation. This is far from regular. Let me try to explain.

Your billing has been incorrect but from lack of energy to try to have it fixed i have just continued to pay it knowing it was incorrect because as you can see getting anything done in the customers favor is gnarly impossible. My bill should be $324 a month and yes usually it carries a $7 late fee every month so $331 a month. Simply dividing what i have paid over the course of 12 month not including any credits i have been paying $460 a month over the previous years. Over the course of the last 6 months however it has been almost a $1000 a month. Once more i have even paid these outrages numbers and still cant seem to keep from being disconnected.

See these are my unanswered questions, there are 0s in the payment column due to A, because i Pay my bill on the first and sometimes it drafts on the 30th or 31st depending on the weekend. B, primarily over the last 6 months I have made outrages payments equaling 2 or 3 times my bill in 1 month due to being shut off for a last due balance that never seems to go away. They however will not talk to you it seems unless you pay them something. The 2730 line is my personal line and i have not made a change to my plan or equipment since June of 2020 yet my bill is never the same twice in a row. The 8885 number is supposed to be suspended and allowing me to retain the number for 1c a month as there is not even a phone that goes to that like. 4990 is my daughters phone that should have the same package as me, the other 2 are Apple watches 1 of witch I am only supposed to be paying for the service s the watch was given to me as a promotion back in 2020.  The bill column is what they claim my bill was mind you I’m in paperless so I pay usually by text or the app. I have never actually seen anything say anything amount that’s high during the time it was due. I have always laid what is text to me as being the balance or what the app says on the home page.  That being said I had to go line by line adding up the charges. Otherwise if I added all of those big numbers up I think some of it would overlap into a even more crazy number.  The last column with the 7s is my late fees and reactivation’s fees but I did not put them in the charges because there Have been some  said to be credited back. I didn’t put them in the credits either because of not knowing what would over lap. My bill as you can see on the spreadsheet has both a plan charge and account charges until recently and it’s changed. The account charges are not itemized and I have no idea what they are either. I hope this explains a little better .

I will also do as you say and simplify the spread sheet and redo the numbers but if as you say, there is still. No reason for my account to be suspended, at best it should have broken even. Correct ?

Went you have 2 bill acumulated your account can be suspended at any moment and as far i see on the image, you always carry 2 bills together

About the 8885 the change on the amount base on what you said can be bc a reduce rate suspention, but that its not permanent, its only for certain time and probably its over

Also if you can tell us the name of your plan can be helpfull to calculate the estimation correctly

About the itemized bill, you can download that from myAtt app for the las 18 months, including details line by line and as formerlyknownas, i recommend too redo the spreadsheet with that info and divide the charge in previus balance and new charges

Warrior as I said there has not even been a phone associated with mine 8885 for 2 years. If the penny a month wasn’t permanent or until I said otherwise they didn’t specify that to me. Regardless as I said also I have not changed or asked for any changes not have I been made aware of any changes to my plan or my service of any type yet like 8885 among others have changes drastically not once but multiple times. A penny that has evolved into a $100 for absolutely nothing whatsoever.

i am not sure why you assume I have missed two payments or more at all by what I wrote in  response to formallyknownas and his concerns regarding my spreadsheet.

I am shut off twice sometimes 3 times a month after being told by AT&T multiple times by multiple representatives that I am im correct and the fault falls on AT&T. As such promises have been made to me and credits promised and not issued case file now manically have become inactive and I’m being black balled by customer service.

i have it had the 5 lines unlimited plan I think with a military discount.

i have had this same number and account for 20 years guys. I have had to study this for the last 6 months. If it wasn’t something so mind blowing and I could be told I was wrong im 5 minutes after being told i was right by AT&T themselves then I would have just continued to pay these crazy bills as I have done for the last 19 years.

I think this is becoming more of a prove me wrong rather than help answer my request. Thanks guys but although I appreciate you double checking my numbers and taking the time to read my post, I didn’t get on here to fight more people that don’t have the decision making authority to restore my services. I got I’m here to ask for resources such as a phone number ir email maybe even a better approach.

I'm trying to help you see what you're being overcharged for.

If we realize what are the charge for, you can make a claim to att for the correct reason and giving you the money that you own.

You need to see that if you dont make the claim for something in specific Att will dont make anything, even with a bbb complain that its the best way to do what you want.

I don't see that either one of us is "fighting" with you, but we are picking through your information because it does not make sense to us and I can understand why you're not getting help from AT&T, - it doesn't make sense to them either.

But there are some things that you need to do different which may help you, like:

A.   Auto pay or pay your bill on time.

B.    Change plans (see next post)

C.    Cancel unused line (see 4)

D.    Read the bill to see the detailed charges.

1.  AT&T has had several new unlimited plans in the past few years which unlimited plan are you on? If you are on the Legacy unlmited plan from more than 10 years ago you are overpaying, and you should have switched to a newer plan.

2.  When you have three phone lines and one watch line you technically have a three line plan because only phones count.

3.  Is there evidence on your account that you are getting the military discount? It should say so when you log into the front page of your My ATT account. It should say something like National Discount and have a fan number applied. This overview page shows the name of your plan,  what is the plan name?   The discount off the current Unlimited Plan applies 25% to the entire plan cost. If you are on an old Unlimited Plan not only are you paying too much for the plan but you're only getting a 15% discount off the data plan.

4.  Line 8885, why haven't you called to cancel this line? Suspension is limited to 180 days in any calendar year and then it is automatically removed and your charged again. If you are paying for a device on that line, why?  It is far cheaper to cancel the line and purchase devices outright then it is to pay outrageous line charges and an installment on top of that.  If this line belongs to a deployed military person it can be canceled with number held for up to 39 months.  No cost,  but also no device should be on it,  and appears you are paying for one?

5.  Watch lines are $10 on current plans,  plus installments.   Are you paying for watches?

6.   If you have participated in any deals on phones or watches that required an unlimited data plan but then you pay late you forfeit the credit on the device. Since you are constantly late that could mean that you have months where you are being charged for all of the devices on top of your $324 expected service charge. Since you have 3 phones and 2 watches lines that adds up to a significant amount of money.

7.   Most of the plans for the last few years give a discount for autopay and paperless billing. If you were on autopay there would be no late fees. Why are you not on autopay and getting the autopay discount? Which would also stop AT&T from removing any Bill credits that you might be getting on phone or watch deals?

Current unlimited your way (mix plan)  for 3 phone lines and 2 watches.

The current plan is simple pricing, which means there is no separate data and line access charge. I'm basing your sample below on the Premium plan.  This plan includes a $10 per phone line auto pay and paperless billing credit on each line in order to get to those prices pictured.

60 * 3 +10 + 10 = 200 less 25% = $ 150
Ball Park taxes $7 each $35 (approx same as current)
Device charges??  $______
So what are your plan charges now?
Discount?   15% or nothing?

Last comment...

And everything I have written is to help you, not to fight with you.

1.  You cannot expect the people you are speaking with AT&T to understand your bill if you don't. You need to read your bill and understand what you are paying for and that includes which plan you are paying for and how that plan is structured. *This is why we're asking you what plan you are on. If you provide that information I can give you some more details on what you should be paying based on how the price structure of that plan is

2.  There is a column just to the right of the column which has the $7 late fees in it the top of that column just says  "plan".   What is that for?   Taxes?   Insurance?

3.  Separate installment charges (net if getting bill credits) from service charges.

I know I'm throwing a lot of information back at you.

The spread sheet is a good start,  but it lacks details that matter and the previously mentioned error of not adding those 2 columns to the att charges.

formallyknownas,

i agree the information does not make since and this is my point and my problem. in every way i have tried to add it up even giving AT&T the benefit of the doubt, it just does not compute. No one at AT&T can even explain it to me as they do not understand it and they give up. then it becomes easier to disconnect my call, going to the store has proved to be useless. They want specific numbers and portions of the bill i am disputing but i am only able to view the information available and certainly cant tell them why or what is happening. i suggested starting fresh back in may and they agreed, however the first bill out the gate was $870 past due, and disconnected.

im going to attempt to answer your questions but im trying to make 2 of my bills safe enough to post the first being April of last year (as far back that is available) and then April of this year( when i had to stop the bleeding). when viewing those to bills i think you will be able to see how incredibly different they are and how much it has increased while i have changed nothing. note, it did it over time as well which is strange. my bill get more and more normal consistently the further you go back in date.

in my opinion my problem is and has been that there is no way to make since of it because it just doesn't make since.

A. i pay my bill on the 1st consistently, im billed on the 19th and it is paid on the first every month. i am not on auto pay because my bill is never the same, AT&T has gotten me in the past where they decide to pull one of these problems and i am charged 2 or 3 times my bill without my knowledge and they may take it from you at one time but when it comes to getting it back, the multi billion dollar company wants to give it to you in credits. credits don't feed my kids or keep the lights on.

B, my plan was 45 a line and now it almost seems as if im not on a plan see bill difference, there was a $100 charge on my bill for the plan as well though(odd) it had a discount for both phone lines and military on it but now that charge is no longer on there either. some of my bills say im being charged $70 on my phone lines as i said it changes. (not me)

c, there is no phone associated with 8885, there has not been for 2 years.

D, for the amount of money my bill has increased and the amount of times it has changed my bill lacks details severely meaning there are none.

note: if there was any since to be made I think i would see it. i have made 100% sure that i have told them and looked for myself that i brought the account completely current a handfull of times despite all of my concerns. ive told them as i authorized my card to be used that i want a 0 balance. i would ask this will make me 0 out right ?. when i pay by text and it gives the option to pay the full balance or the past due i have made sure to pay in full numerous times, i still have the text, however by the next bill o will have a past due pending shut off again.

as of the last year, no matter how much i have paid or what they have told me my account seems to keep a past due of anywhere from $800 to $1500.

for instance in march 2022 i was shut off for $832. As you know in order to get services restored the full balance must be paid. i paid said amount and got turned back on then April 1st i paid $373 as was my bill(not right) just to receive a text the i was subject to suspension if i didn't pay another $583 by April 30th. i paid this amount on the 30th for what i do not know meaning i don't know where it came from. i was then disconnected the following day. They told me that they received said payment but it was a partial payment of my bill that was $1457. since i have been on life support being turned off every couple days as they tried to figure it out. now however im dead in the water as they have given up i guess.

1. im hoestly not sure as mentioned above, but point being whatever plan i am on or whatever the bill say it doesnt matter. i have PAID what they are asking and still am disconnected. $$$$$$$ this is my 1st issue and really all that matters or else the rest is a waste of time$$$$$$

this is also what i cant explain to them in a way that makes since.

1. They issue a bill the amount doesn't matter!

2. I pay whatever the amount was

3. Then i am shut off unless i pay a different amount!

4. I pay that amount and so o and so on it doesnt stop.

2 i understand

3 yes my profile says marine corps at the top and my bill did have some discounts on it shown but now doesnt show them but still sayes that at the top

4. i havent canceled it for personal reasons i haven't been able to let go of that number but i was told only what i said. i could keep it for 1 penny. it would be suspended until i reactivated it and paid the $35 fee. i have purchased no phone on said line however they have attached the phone that belongs to 4990 and rings when you call 4990 not 8885 to the 8885 account. in turn there appears to be no pone on the 4990 line vs the 8885 line on the bill. for this I have no idea .

my two watch lines are supposed to be $10 that is the 0232 and th3 4819 lines. the 0232 should have installments for a watch but the 4819 line should not as it was the promo watch.  the bill even states that it is a promo but still has me paying for it right next to it. i was also promised that the 424 dollars worth of installments paid already on the watch would be credited back as well but have not.

6. i do not know the answer to this

7. i don't trust AT&T to be on auto pay as i stated above.
