how long to get refund

for over 4 mths I have been told I will get a refund of over $200. and it is yet to come.

Refund for what? Did you have a positive account balance that was being refunded? If so, was that for a closed account? If not a closed account, that balance probably got applied to a bill. In any event, if a refund is really due, 4 months is more than enough to wait. Time to escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint.

It was for an account that never worked and was closed over 4 mths ago and every time I call them they tell me refund is being sent that day or week. 4 mths later nothing

You should stop dealing with AT&T directly if it's getting you nowhere. File a complaint with BBB or FCC and you most likely will get quicker resolution. Good luck.
