Credits

Has anyone else been promised credits for switching to AT&T and still waiting on their empty promises?  I switched to them in April from Verizon (switched 3 lines) and here it is Dec 5 and I'm still waiting.  I keep hearing "we've escalated to Managment" and promised a resolution within 48 hours.....Anyone else in my position?

I think he was 3 sheets to the wind and a nasty drunk....

No point in dealing with someone who just want a punching bag.

 

In one of the early posts I complemented his wife for having the good service - sort of a woman is always right joke and it went totally sideways with this guy.  No credit to his wife at all.

(that's a couple night on the sofa right there)

 

 I have to say I've been lucky, I've always had good service, my bill is correct.

But, we buy all our phones outright.  Most of them one year old models from eBay. 

I just bought my son the Nexus 6p as a 21st birthday and Xmas gift.

Yeah, I'm caught up in the unified billing fisaco and it;s been a nightmare. I have both Direct TV and U verse and added the wireless. Big mistake on my part as it was not worth all the hassle.

Direct TV reps use to be able to handle things right away now with AT&T taking over it's a complete mess.

 

My mothly bill is a different amount every month and I don't get it. With everything being the same, the bill should be the same every month. Since adding the wireless to my acount and getting on unified billing it's been a mess. Once this $300 credit is applied I will work to get things un-unified.

As it should be.  This is supposed to be a mutual help forum.  

No matter what CSR's know (or should know) they have limited experience.  And they are certainly not going to suggest the BBB if they want to have a job.

 

Both of you post progress and results if you would?

Haha!! He needs to put down the whiskey and make the switch! I tell you, my cell phone service has been excellent with AT&T but not the C/S. Billing a disaster and has left a bad taste in my mouth, even if the coverage has been great.

Just an update. Received my $300 credit to my account today. I will credit the quick respone to the BBB compliant. I filed the compliant on 12-5, the compliant was forward to AT&T on the 7th and I received an email from AT&T Executive Team regarding the BBB compliant today and was advised the $300 credit would be applied today. Just checked my online account and the $300 was applied.  

 

@iphoneguy, hope you get your issue taken care of.

It's funny you say that because I too received my credit yesterday!  First of all, I followed through and filed my complaint with the BBB.  After I did this I called AT&T and was transferred to 3 different supervisors. I wasn't satisfied with responses so I asked to speak to another one and FINALLY I found one with a heart and willing to do his job. Willing to make it right for a customer. It's a shame we had to wait so long and go through this measures but good to know we both cran breath a sigh of relief. Thanks for the follow up and thanks for your help as well @lizdance40!

No surprise here.   I said the BBB is like a magic wand, wave it and POOF!!

 

Very good news and now it is here for the next customer with the same problem.

It gets even better:  Just received a call from AT&T upper management regarding my BBB complaint!   Now that is service!!!  Like you said, they are the "magic wand"!!! Smiley Very Happy
