Makes me never want to do bussiness with AT&T wireless.

It sounds like AT&T already made that decision for you.

We understand the importance and urgency of getting new wireless services with us, haylasnani.

We recommend using our store locator and visiting one of our locations for further assistance. Just click where it says, "Filter", then click "Company Owned Store" and click "Apply".  They may be able to help you with setting up service and provide you with definitive information about the credit check.

We hope this helps. Thanks again for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

Credit scores can fluctuate wildly from week to week. I'm always a little (Edited per community guidelines) off when I look at credit karma and see my credit score has gone down five points because I supposedly owe money on my Amazon credit card. Despite the fact that I know darn well that I paid it off last week, as I do every single  month.

AT&t also has its own internal credit rating system. It's going to look at some articles on your credit report differently. And if you've ever had AT&t in the past, it was hopefully a smooth sail and a graceful exit for AT&t is going to consider your past experience with them while applying for new service.  (In other words AT&t holds a grudge forever)

Another complaint which comes up more often than I would think is people who have a common name, or who are a "junior",  and their namesake has a terrible credit history and AT&t cannot seem to manage to use the social security number rather than connect and unrelated name to someone's request for service.  I pity every 'Bob Smith' out there.

I absolutely positively will never do business with any service provider other than walking into a corporate store.

Thank you! But neither of those are the case. There are 0 late payments a nd all sitting at over 800 score! I also have never dealt with this company before!
