You have to call and ask for the waiver.  Did you call and ask for the waiver?

and ask for the fee waiver? There was a fee waiver link that sent you to fill in your information and it then stated it would be paid and you would not have to fill out every month it would be automatically applied. So why have the fees not been paid? Why does every bill now have a late fee even when I've paid on time or even early?

I did all above and went personally to AT&T and still did not get it

I think it is malpractice and marketing tool and not a genuine thing

@Unfairpractices when you contacted AT&T and even went in, what did they tell you?

Ditto for me. Got the ATT e-mail in early May saying "Thank you for your waiver request". Nothing since. Is this what they call a bait & switch, or just fraudulent advertising?

At&t is the WORST phone company they charge you all these late fees and unnecessary fees as if we are not in a global pandemic and struggling financially. It is not fair & inconsiderate !! I wish I can trade phone companies.

AT&T doesn’t care or value they’re customers they charge you all these late & unnecessary fees while we are in a global pandemic. Times are extremely hard & yet they don’t cut you no slack. I HATE this company.

I to signed up for the waiver fee and continued to get charged for late fees even if I paid my bill on time. They even went as far as somehow doing a auto pay, which I did not sign up for, and still charged me the next month for late fees. This month they shut me off because they said I hadn't paid my bill and all the late fees, my bill was $56.00. I called AT&T was on the phone with them for over two hours being put on hold or being transferred around because no one wanted to fix my bill. I wanted them to remove the late fees and they stated they couldn't, I asked about the waiver fee, one person stated they've never heard of it, that AT&T doesn't offer a waiver fee I stated they did and I was out on hold so they could "find" it. I spoke to multiple people and each person said they could not find it, one asked where did I sign the waiver fee agreement or contract, I told them it was on their website and I did it every month even though it stated I only had to sign it once, again I was told there is no waiver fee that I must be mistaken and they can not help me I told them I have copies of the agreement, that I took screenshots of each one and I have copies of the emails. They scrambled around and put me on hold numerous times to then be told that they do have it but I am not on the list, if I were that my fees would have been paid. They stated there was nothing they could do wished me a good day said goodbye and hung up. If I could find a company that will match what I pay with AT&T I would leave in a second and then file a (Edited per community guidelines) for false advertisement and falsifying records and documents. I have contacted a lawyer in this matter and if enough information is found they will be filing a (Edited per community guidelines) suit against AT&T.

Your entire claim does not make sense. How did they get your banking/credit card info to put you on autopay? Removing late fees ended months ago. You should read the terms of service you agreed to, I’m sure your “attorney” did 😂😂

@Auser23  The FCC fee waiver program ended in JUNE.
Paying late or short means you get a late fee.  If AT&T is such a great price, PAY IT.
