Can I receive credit when cancelling service?
My account was paid in full for service through Dec 25, but I cancelled my service on Dec 3. I would like a pro-rated refund for the service Dec 4-25 that I am not using.

Final bills are not prorated you won’t be refunded.

Oh, that (Edited per community guidelines). One thing is for sure, I'll never have AT&T again

@tscholt125 You better avoid Verizon and TMobile too. None of the major carriers prorate the final bill. That is not unique to ATT.

It's SOP for all but Google Fi. And if you check on every website you will see that there is no refund for prepaid services. And carriers Bill month to month, there is no refund or proration of final bills.

This is good to know, thanks for the responses. I was unable to find the answer to my question when signed in to my account. Perhaps it's in the more general info area of the AT&T site. It's too bad I didn't know this prior to paying for the Nov-Dec billing cycle.
I also find it funny that a "harsh" word like s*cks violates the community guidelines. Maybe "stinks" wouldn't have gotten filtered. ;)

That wouldn't have made a difference, you'd still owe it.
You should have just canceled close to the end of a billing cycle instead of a week after one began.
