Can I pay my mobile bill in advance?

If my balance is $0 can I pay my mobile bill in advance?  What's the maximum I can pay?  I will be out of the country for a few months and want to make sure I don't fall behind on payments.

Hey there @thechanggang, let's share with you how you can be sure to never miss a payment while traveling outside the country.

You aren't able to pay your bill in advance but if you aren't already enrolled in AutoPay, you should definitely enroll. You'll never miss a payment. Select plans offer a nice discount while enrolled in AutoPay and Paperless Billing. That way you don't worry yourself about falling behind on your payments.

We wish you safe travels and we thank you for being an AT&T Customer.

The only way to pay more than you owe, or when there is a zero balance is by check in the mail.

If you have one of the newer plans that includes an auto-pay and paperless discount, the check would not honor that auto-pay and paperless discount requirement.

Sign up for autopay and you won't have to worry about falling behind ever.

As greedy and sneaky as AT&T is with the billing I wouldn't be surprised if they billed me extra for sending them a check for 2400 dollars to cover a year's service. They thrive on millions of dollars in monthly fees and sneaky surcharges etc. In fact it would actually be profitable for them to just mail the check back to me and charge me for the stamp on the envelope lol.
