Can I complete a cancellation through email?

Please help! I am currently outside of the US and will not be able to return for a few month due to the COVID 19 situation. I need to cancel my account, it is currently suspended but I cannot keep paying the fee as I am not earning dollars and it is too costly.
I can NOT call and need to be contacted via email or through the at&t app. The website keeps glitching out.
Please help urgently.

Sorry, ATT does not do support via email. You must call to cancel.

Are you prepaid? If yes:
You cannot get your PIN code. You have no service, and access from outside of the United States is purposely blocked.

Your options are to contact your financial institution and have your debit or credit card canceled and replaced. This will allow your prepaid plan to expire and your account and number will terminate if the balance is $0 for 60 days without penalty.

The alternative is to call the international number for prepaid Travelers which you can find in the contact us Link at the bottom of the web page. Hold times are quite long. If you can reach AT&T ask them to turn off auto-pay for you. If you wish to keep the number, you will have to ask support to put you on a pay-per-use plan and refill with sufficient funds to extend your accounts expiration date


IF YOU ARE POSTPAID: You must call. Give AT&T your mailing address for final bill.
