bill doesn't show what country day pass was used in

Where you can see what country international day pass was used in for a given day?

When I go on trip to more than one country the bill definitely does not show and even the detail usage does not show what country it was used in. Is there another way to see that?

Hello @kkweng, we're happy to help with information on viewing the International Day Pass on your bill.

When viewing your bill you will only see that the International Day Pass was used within the bill cycle, this will not include details of where you traveled, and since the Day pass covers you for 24 hours additional delays of up to 60 days are possible if the usage takes place outside the U.S.

Keep in mind: The first time you use data, talk, or send a text, your 24-hour pass begins, and you’ll be charged a daily fee. This fee applies even if you travel to multiple included countries in the same day. After 10 daily fees per bill period, you can continue to use your phone through the end of the bill period for no additional charge. Daily fees are calculated and applied to your bill at the end of your bill period.

  • International Day Pass will automatically be available once you arrive at your international destination. You don’t have to do a thing or plan ahead. You’ll receive a text letting you know you’re covered.
  • Only pay for the days you use
  • You’ll only be charged for a maximum of 10 days for International Day Pass, even if you stay longer.
  • International Day Pass now covers over 210 countries. If you talk, text, or use data in countries not included in International Day Pass, pay-per-use rates apply.
  • For wireless roaming use, which is based on call records from other carriers, delays are normally 2-10 days but could be more than 60 days. Some use may display online but be billed during a later bill period.

You can visit our International Usage FAQ page for additional details on where to find data usage on your bill. We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

I am aware that the bill does not show it.   Same for the data usage screens.   I'm asking if there is anywhere that you can see what country activity happened in.

The bill will show you the date of the usage that prompted the $10 charge, at least it did for me on my last trip. You should then be able to determine what country you were in based on the date. Unfortunately, what time that 24 hour period covered is not on the bill, so if in multiple countries on that date, best you can do is guess. Your data usage log might help you nail down the time frame.

Hi kkweng, let's answer your question on viewing what country and date the International Day Pass was used.

As the ACE @sandblaster mentioned, you should then be able to determine what country you were in based on the date. Your data usage log might help you with the time frame.

You can view how to manage international usage for data, talk, and text between bills, and keep track of your wireless usage with the myAT&T app or text the word myATT to 556699 from any device for a link to download the app.

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Thanks Sandblaster.    I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm sure AT&T (and maybe the government) knows what country the phone is getting used in.   But they info they're providing doesn't let me see that.   When there are multiple phones in use by different people on our account, it can be hard to triangulate.

The daypass only shows for the first 10 days used in the month, after that doesn't even get mentioned, since it's no longer being charged for.   But data use is still happening on subsequent days.   It just doesn't show where.
