Bill credits

I was told that if I switch to AT&T, I would get a $250 credit (visa or bill credit) and if my family and I (four people) would bring our phones over, I would get a $250 credit per line paid over 25 months, so it would be $10 less a month, per line. I have chat proof of this. Also, I’m a first responder and was supposed to get that discount but it wasn’t working in their system so I had to call every month to get that fixed. So today, I got my fourth bill and I called them because they didn’t put the credits on the account. After two hours of being on the phone with them, they said that the promotion only existed for door to door sales and not valid for over the phone sales and there wasn’t anything they could do. The only thing that they could do was offer me 1/4 of the credit that I was promised. This issue has taught me that even big companies will lie to you and you can’t do anything about it.

I had a door to door salesman put this deal in for me and i'm still waiting on my credits. The rep is no longer responding to my calls/texts. I've had multiple horrible experiences customer service-wise since switching to AT&T

Likewise, I didn’t realize that such a big company would do something like this. Verizon may be more expensive but I never had any issues like this
