It's pretty easy to get it playing on a mobile device, but a multimedia player, not-so-much.

There are the other apps though that you can use your DirecTV sign in to authenticate with mobile apps and TV streaming box apps like HBO GO, BBC AMERICA and DISNEY (and more)

I apologize you've been running into issues with this great feature.  I'd like to work with you one on one if possible because this should work.  I use it myself when I'm at the gym or just out with friends and family.  The only thing I can think of is that possibly you need to confirm your app is set up properly.  Here are a few steps that should resolve it, but if this doesn't work, please send me a PM and we can troubleshoot further.

 

Please note, for this initial set up, you do have to be on the same Wi-Fi connection as the DVR.  Once this is done, you should have access even when out and about.

I DM'd 24 HOURS AGO!!!!!! I was told that they needed my account number and they would check into it. "give us a minute". Did I Mention waiting for 24 hours??? Now you are telling me the same thing.

@ATTTimCSThis assumes you have AT&T DirectTV service though, which is pretty easy to set up.

If you have just a regular device (Roku, TiVo DVR, SmartOSTV, etc), it's REALLY tricky to get working, and I say that coming from someone who's coded/architected solutions for a lot of years, so I can usually "reverse engineer" these authentication problems, in most cases.

What we need, is a "how-to" that covers setting it up if you DO NOT have DirectTV from AT&T, you ONLY have (Unlimited)cell service, and want to use the free features.  I can't find the (flawed) article that did exist on this model?

I am not an att or a direct employee so I don't know what you are talking about. 2 of the accounts were in my wifes name and 1 of them was in my name. I have asked to get that changed to all in either hers or mine. Doesn't matter to us. Just make it simple and bundle it all together under one of our names. They always say "ok we will get that taken care of for ya". However I have no idea if it has been done or not!!!!!!

Is that what you are even talking about?

I just want it all put together and upgraded to the Unlimited Plus Plan with the military discount since our son is Off In The Army and using all of our 6gb plan in the first couple weeks, so then we are left with non existant . Can Someone Please Make That Happen PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
