Hello @MRjcspw,
We can definitely answer that question for you. If the text detail on your bill shows dashes, zeros, or your own phone number, this is usually due to the phone number being blocked. Data detail will not show contact information and the times are reported in a three hour window. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

You have come to the right place, @rwil7051! Let us help you to find if the contact recorded in the detailed section of your bill is coming from the sender or receiver.
The line items that show up as a Mobile data usage are actually from your phone connect to the internet. For instance, if you own an iPhone, then you will not see the number of any iMessages (incoming or outgoing) on your bill or usage.
Only SMS/MMS messages sent and received over our network will appear as an item on your bill. For information about checking your usage between bill periods, visit Check current usage for data, talk, and text.
Dial Star Services for usage updates
Star Services are a quick and easy way to check your current usage from your device. Dial star services from your AT&T wireless phone just like you're making a call. We'll text the info to you.
To get data and text balances:
Also, as shared under Usage reporting delays:
We update your usage reports as quickly as we can, but sometimes your usage info may be unavailable or delayed. It can take two to five days for data use to post in myAT&T, so amounts shown online may not reflect all use since your last bill.
We hope this info helps. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

Hello,
I've told my child to block a certain number, and now I see “--”, does that mean it's blocked? And I take it like the time and date us when the caller is calling?
