Will be opening an att account today, any advice?

Hello all, I am about to open an account with ATT getting the unlimited elite plan with 4 lines. What am I expecting today? Are there any hidden fees I need to worry about every month? We have our own phones so we wont be needing any devices. Do I pay anything up front today? Sorry for these questions, but I need to know what im heading into today.

Elite no longer exists.  It was replaced by premium. You should have read AT&T online to know exactly what the costs are and that the prices online require autopay and paperless billing. It's been a while since you read what is offered online or you would know Elite is no longer offered and premium replaced it.

Nothing upfront unless you need to buy phones, then sales tax.

Check your imei

https://www.att.com/buy/byod/identify?devicetype=phone

$5 - $9 per line in taxes and fees on each line.

First bill is double.  Activation, $30 each.  $10 per line auto pay and paperless billing discount doesn't kick in until your first bill is paid with both autopay and paperless.

If you sign up with a credit card your payment is taken a week after your bill is issued. If you use debit or checking your auto pay is taken 2 days before the due date.

Based on my experiences, over the last 8 months, not recommending AT&T
