Train Your Reps
I DREAD calling in to AT&T customer service. The most recent experience I had was awful and any before have not been better. This recent time I called in, went through the automated system and was connected to someone who is clearly new to the team, not a problem, but they are sitting there obviously being fed what to do and what to say and asking the same question multiple times. Then after 30 min of this back and forth I'm told she can't help me. I get transferred and sit for another 20 min waiting for someone to pick up again. When he does there's issues with the system and I sit for another 30 minutes to get what I need completed. Train your reps BEFORE you let them answer the phone. I'm patient and I'm willing to work with someone who is knew and figuring it out but this is ridiculous. I have been on the phone for over an hour just trying to cancel 3 lines from our business account. Every time I call I get transferred at least twice, it's never just a quick call, I have to set aside time for it.
The customer service really makes me consider leaving AT&T.
