Switching back from Cricket to ATT

So I ported our phones from ATT to Cricket a few days ago.  Price can't be beat and I always feel raked over the coals by ATT.  Although everything else works fine - neither phone can receive calls.  Cricket does not seem to be dooing much about it so I I think I must reluctantly switch back.  I never cancelled my ATT service still have the ATT Sim cards.  Can I just put the ATT Sim cards back in?  Both of us have Samsung phones.

Porting your lines cancels your ATT service. I suspect the call issue is due to the port is not complete or something went wrong in the porting process. However, if everything else works, your lines have been cancelled with ATT. You do realize Cricket is ATT, yes?

Yes, I understand that Cricket is ATT more or less. But if they cannot fix
whatever they did wrong in the porting - the service is of little use to
me. Okay - so if I want to switch back, I'll need to order new Sim cards.
I spent 3 hours the first couple of days troubleshooting and found that the
sim cards were switched incorrectly between my phone and my husband's. Of
course, had they sent me any information about which Sim card went to which
phone this would not have happened!

Anyway - I will call Cricket one more time to see what they have to say.

If the Cricket SIM cards got put in the wrong phones, just swap them. If you do switch back, you will also have to go through the porting process again.

If the port isn’t complete, I don’t think they can port back.

Hello kc475682, let's get you pointed in the right direction to unlock a Cricket device.

Cricket Wireless is wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T that sells prepaid wireless service under the Cricket brand. The Cricket team is responsible for all aspects of Cricket complaint handling.

You will need to contact Cricket in order to have this device unlocked. AT&T will not be able to unlock a cricket device.

Let us know if this helps!
