SOS means emergency calls only, and no service. Assuming you have not left a service area, the first things to look at are whether or not your service has been suspended, either for non-payment or for some other reason. And the other is to consider maybe the SIM card is defective  or  has been deleted from your device.

If the SIM card is defective or deleted you have to contact AT&T

Hello @Malino, we see that you're experiencing errors with your device being stuck in SOS mode, and we definitely don't want you to be without internet. Allow us to help!

First, if you haven't already, we'd suggest for you to go ahead and replace the SIM on your device. You can get SIM card kits at one of our stores, online through att.com, or from another online retailer. The kits come with three SIM card sizes. You can use it if you want to bring your own device to AT&T, or if you just need a new physical SIM.

Next, feel free to provide us with the make and model of your device. Also, you'll need to make sure your device works on our network. Not sure? Check device compatibility.

Reach back out to let us know if this helped and if you require further assistance!

Thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums, and we're glad to help!
