So you must be on an old metered data plan?  Only metered plans get can get a 22% discount off of the data plan.

If you are on an unlimited data plan and waiting for a 22% discount you're not going to get it.  Not eligible.

Unlimited data plans are not eligible for discounts on service unless you are a special class of customer: military, veteran, Dr, nurse, physicians assistant, teacher, first responder.

The only exception is if you are on the unlimited Elite or premium plan which is eligible for a $10 discount making it the same price as the extra plan.

I 100% agree with the first responder discount but I was told by not 1 but 2 loyalty employees that would receive that 22% discount they even put on hold and spoke to there superior and returned with they need more documentation so I received more from Uber the told it was a green light all good to go my response was please send me a acceptance email and they both responded with that was against there codes lol and it’s worse cause there was also a iPhone 12 purchased with installments at $11.00 no wrong it’s $20.00 and was supposed to have been charged to the correct amount they even gave me a little credit towards my bill I guess to old me off a bit

what joke

Dude you're killing me with the lack of punctuation.   🤦🏼‍♀️

What plan are you on?

Everything is run by computer.

Credits are issued if your plan qualifies. Discounts are issued if your plan qualifies.

If you are not getting a discount for being an Uber driver after submitting your employment documentation, and not getting a credit on a phone that you were told you could get, then most likely your plan does not qualify.

After my previous post your first response should have been:  "I'm on this plan ___________ and was told it qualifies".

As I wrote in the earlier post, you must be on a metered plan (which means your plan has a stated amount of data) or on the unlimited Elite or Premium plan to get discounts as an Uber driver.

22% discount can only be applied to the data plan on a metered plan. The discount on the Elite plan or the premium plan is $10 making it the same cost as the extra plan.

You also have to be on an eligible unlimited data plan to qualify for any phone promotions

Hello @ Rondawg5150,

Thank you for coming to the Community Forums with your question regarding an employee discount! I completely understand how helpful this is. It’s my pleasure to assist.

After completing review on this, I do see the offer for Uber employees still stands for eligible customers. In this web page for your employer, you can learn more about the discounts offered and how to apply them.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Thanks for your time and have a wonderful day!

This is the key language from the site linked by AT&T Help (it's at the bottom of the blue box):

Req’s AT&T Unlimited PremiumSM plan. Req’s proof of eligibility.

@ Formerlyknownas.                                   My plan is the best one available premium unlimited I didn’t want to put it all out but here you go I changed my plan I had a grandfathered plan it was a fair price for two lines. With so much data allotted between the two of us and it was a neat plan because if we didn’t use all the data it carried over to your next billing cycle well I had to change that because I ended up using all the data. My mom doesn’t use any data she uses maybe 0.1 data throughout one billing cycle. They told me that with Uber I can get the $10 discount plus The one that you get with auto pay at $10.00 off so that’s 20 and then you also get I was told 22% off your wireless bill being a Uber employee which, by the way already sent the documentation stating and showing that I was a Uber employee, so they took the $10.00 off right away this last was last August 2022 and my mom was put on that premium plan also unlimited and she received the new phone. They had a promo going for an and my mom was put on that premium plan also unlimited and she received the new phone. They had a promo going for an iPhone 12 were if you had a unlimited plan you got it for $11 a month talk to another person in the loyalties department. I don’t know if you’re familiar with that but that’s supposed to be the best agents you can talk to and yes they did change things. Like I said, I mentioned that they gave me out reimbursement on the phone and they did it right there. It wasn’t computer generated none of that (Edited per community guidelines) so I know that for a fact, and then the phone started for two payments at $11. The plan was never changed at this time we’re still on the same plan premium unlimited the top of the Ashlon and was told again about 20% off she even calculated my bill and she said that give it a couple weeks as it takes 2 to 3 billing cycles to show up and I even sent in more documentation waited. The phone payment never dropped to 11 who the (Edited per community guidelines) in their right mind would pay $20 a month for an iPhone 12 when I could’ve got an iPhone 14 at that time for that price a year ago so bottom line is everything, I was told by supposed “”best agents at AT&T was lies because nothing has been changed and now I did have in the beginning my mom on a plan where she got 3 GB or 4 GB and it was only $50 a month and I bumped her up into this plan because she was gonna get $10 off which she is we’re both getting 10 off and a new phone and now look where I am that was stupid and of course I was stupid for believing them but you think that they would have a little sharpness to him little insight on what they’re offering and who they’re offering it to like I said I had a cell phone and 93 I don’t think you probably had a cell phone at the beginning of 93 just FYI and I’ve been with them since 93 and this is the way they treat people that’s the moral. I’m trying to put out there now I have I called and talk to them again no I haven’t because every time I call I talk to them for three hours and it’s f#%king annoying but I will be calling and I will have to sit on the phone with them for three hours again and try and figure this out but the thing is is what I’m trying to relay to everybody on here. AT&T is not what it wants was they were the cream of the crock. The cream always rises. They may rise again, but it sure the (Edited per community guidelines) doesn’t look like it.

My plan is the best one available premium unlimited I didn’t want to put it all out but here you go

Why would you *not* tell us what plan you were on when it makes a considerable difference in how the discounts work and whether you are eligible for a phone promotion. As I indicated in both of my previous posts?  It makes no sense and nobody cares what plan you're on except the computer which gives you a discount or not...

I changed my plan I had a grandfathered plan it was a fair price for two lines.

Did you You change your plan when you got the new iPhone?  If you were not on an unlimited data plan when you purchase the iPhone you were not eligible for a deal.

With so much data allotted between the two of us and it was a neat plan because if we didn’t use all the data it carried over to your next billing cycle well I had to change that because I ended up using all the data.

Okay.  As an Uber driver that makes sense

They told me that with Uber I can get the $10 discount plus The one that you get with auto pay at $10.00 off so that’s 20 and then you also get I was told 22% off your wireless bill being a Uber employee which,

No.  The $10 off is your Uber discount.

The auto pay and paperless billing discount is built into the plan You have to use debit or checking account to get that $10 off each phone line. (That's $20) You can put yourself on the premium plan and your mom on the starter plan to save money. With your Uber discount your premium line can get another $10 off.(that's a $30 total)

You cannot stack $10 Uber discount on top of a 22% Uber discount.

If you have auto-pay and paperless billing set up with your debit or checking account you should be getting the $65 price for your line (on premium) and $60 price for your mom's line if she's on starter

You had to be on this (unlimited) plan to get a deal on the phone.

Phone payments do not "drop".  If you met the qualifications to get the deal you still see the full usual installment price for all 36 months, But you also get a credit against that installment. If the installment is 20, and the credit is 9, the net is $11.   Is there a $9 credit on your bill?

So far everything is exactly as I have described, including the fact that you cannot take a 22% discount for being an Uber employee but that you are eligible for a $10 discount on the premium plan for being an Uber employee.
The only thing that is in question is whether or not you are getting a bill credit against your phone installment
Read the bill for a bill credit
