Replacement phone through Asurion sent back by FedEx
I summitted a claim for my phone which was processed quickly through asurion. Unfortunately, they never sent me tracking information when they mailed out the replacement phone (even though they said they would) and I was unable to sign for the phone when FedEx tried to deliver it which was between 11am and 3pm during the week. I work during the day like most other people, so clearly I wasn't able to sign for it and FedEx wouldn't allow me to reroute the package to a secure drop off location such as a nearby Wallgreens. Now the phone has be "returned" to the sender thanks to FedEx, but ATT didn't check the package to realize it was actually the phone they tried to send me only it was returned to them. They're trying to mark it as my damaged phone that I submitted the claim on to begin with. Has anyone else experience this? My father in law is the account holder so I don't think I am able to call myself to resolve this issue and I am not sure who to contact about this mix up.

AT&T has no part in the transaction it was sent to assurion and assurion sent the phone. AT&T was never involved in your claim.

Have the account owner contact Asurion. If the phone was returned to sender it should have gone back to the insurance company. The broken phone would be sent to AT&T.
It seems a little odd to me that if a package is not delivered and returned to sender as undeliverable that the sender wouldn't know the difference.
