Order stuck in “in progress”
I placed an online order for local pick-up 7 hours ago and it has been saying in progress the entire time. I talked to my local store who said it takes approximately 2-4 hours for the order to be processed and sent to my local store. I called AT&T and they said that it was a problem with my number port and it was hung up in the system. They told me they fixed the problem and the order would be sent to my local store. My local store said they can not even see the order and have no idea what the problem is. The specialist I called says he can’t see order details or what the problem is either but to call the online order specialists who’s department is closed until Monday;this is Saturday. My problem is I have to go out of town for work for the next week, hence my placing the order early in the day so I can have my phone before I leave. My local store is open Sunday 12-6pm but who knows if anyone will be able to see the order so I can pick it up. I was originally told 2-4 hours and now am being told it is at least 24 hours before my order will be processed. I just want to know what the time frame is and if I’m going to be able to pick up a $1,000 phone tomorrow or what I need to do. Is it normally 24 hours?
