My cell number has been spoofed

I've gotten two phone calls today from numbers I don't recognize, about 30 minutes apart. They both left voicemails saying they're returning my call, but I haven't called anyone. I'm assuming my number was spoofed. Is there anything I need to do to secure my account somehow? This has never happened to me before!

No, no need to do anything to secure your account. Number spoofing has nothing to do with your account.

Do I report it to anyone? The incoming calls aren't stopping now, this is crazy!

They aren't likely to stop soon, either. The surprising thing is that you're just experiencing the joys of spam calls. If you don't answer or respond, they'll eventually go away. Several apps are on the market to help deal with this problem; none are perfect. Some phones have settings to only allow calls that are in your contact list- this is probably the best option out there.
