I need to remove an iPad from my plan

I have a family plan that has just 2 ipads on it.

We are getting rid of 1 ipad and I need to REMOVE IT from the account.

 

HOW can I do this?

to be clear, I need to remove 1 USER - my husband (and his iPad - he's on Verizon now, lucky guy). 

 

ATT keeps asking me for my Mobile Number associated with my account. Don't have an AT&T mobile number anymore. 

 

They are NO HELP.

Do you have any phones on the account and who is the account owner?  The account owner can cancel the line the iPad is on.
