How do I cancel a Port out Request that Visible has on my number with ATT?
Hello, Visible wireless by Verizon has a port out request on my number. I've been told by ATT reps that I need to ask Visible to cancel the request. When I ask Visible to cancel the request they say they cannot help me because I do not have service with them any longer. They will not cancel the request to port over my number. I asked the ATT rep on the phone to cancel this request because I, the owner of the number and the authorized user on the account, gave them authority to cancel it. She said ATT cannot do anything and Visible has to cancel the request.
This has been going on for a few months now. About 2 months I cannot port my number out of ATT to another lower cost carrier. When I try to port over my number ATT will cancel the port out and say Visible already has a port out request on my number.
I do not know what to do. I do not know why I am paying ATT $50 a month when they can't even help me keep fraudsters from holding my number hostage. Does anyone here have an idea? Can anyone from ATT help me??

File a BBB complaint and someone higher up at AT&T will contact you for a resolution.
