Healthcare Discount

Does AT&T recognize all front line healthcare workers, such as occupational, physical, respiratory, and speech therapists? I was told there was a 25% wireless discount for doctors and nurses by a representative, but they weren't sure if I qualified. As a therapist and longstanding customer, my family would greatly appreciate it. Thanks to all my fellow health care workers for all that you do!

We certainly appreciate our front line workers and as an extension of our gratitude AT&T is offering 25% off appreciation offer for Nurses, Physicians, and Physician Assistants!

Hope this info helps.

Hi -- I have submitted my employee ID, my pay stub, my state license about 10 times over the past 4-5 months and still have not received the discount or even an acknowledgement of receipt of these documents. I have went to the AT&T store in October to see what can be done and they submitted a discount form and it still has not been applied. I have called AT&T and none of the representatives were even aware of this discount. Is this something that someone can fix for my account?

@swk This forum is not customer support. No one here has access to your account, so no one here can apply your discount. If calls and store visits aren’t getting results, file an FCC or BBB complaint. Getting the discount applied shouldn’t be that difficult, if you are actually qualified for the discount and you have a plan that gets the discount. Are you sure you qualify and have a plan that qualifies?

Hi! I am a patient flow manager that is considered as a frontline worker. We work directly with patients. Would I qualify for a discount?

@maipaher Not unless you have one of the certifications listed above.

You can check to see if your employer has an employee discount program, though.

I’m a respiratory therapist at a hospital but are we not considered frontline workers?

@Dawne_33 There is no “frontline worker” discount, so it doesn’t matter whether you are considered frontline or not. ATT’s healthcare discount is specifically for doctors and nurses, not frontline workers.

I am also a Respiratory Therapist for a hospital. We are definitely frontline worker, especially during COVID-19 pandemic as we are the specialized personnel. We go through the same process of education and certification, but yet we are treated differently.
