HBOMAX Subscription cannot be verified

Is anyone else having a problem with HBOMAX?  I have the Unlimited plan that has it included.  Has worked no problem up until about a few days ago.  Wondering if it's a just me thing or everyone.  Thanks

We are here to help you with your HBO Max concerns, @dpionk.

We do understand how important it is to be able to watch your favorite shows and movies!

We can use a little more information, so we can provide you with the best next steps.

  • Which unlimited plan do you have? This will help us verify your subscription.
  • Are you using the same credentials you use for your myAT&T account? If not, try logging in with your same log in.
  • What error are you getting? This will help us determine our next steps.
  • Are you trying to access your HBO Max on your device or T.V.? Try logging in to your account on a web browser. Please be sure to log in with provider and let us know if you run in to the same error.
  • Have you made an recent changes to your account such as plan changes or updated your log in password for myAT&T? This will help us determine if this is causing you to not be able to access HBO Max.

We do look forward to your response to help get this resolved for you.

Hello dpionk, we're here to help with your HBO Max can't verify subscription inquiry.

If you have multiple AT&T services and AT&T User IDS this may cause an error in verifying your account, as you'll need to sign in with the wireless ID associated with HBO Max. (ID used to create).

You'll find personalized troubleshooting tips specific to how you are subscribed by visiting the HBO Max Help Center

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Yeah I’ve gone through all of that and it states to click on the hbomax tile that used to be there but is not any more.

Thank you for keeping us updated, @dpionk.

The HBO Max Activation tile appears on your account overview when it has yet to be activated. Since you've used HBO Max through your AT&T subscription before, we recommend you completely log out of HBO Max app on every device.

Once you've done that, try signing back in both with your wireless User ID and your Access ID if you haven't already.

Please share the results with us here, as we want to help you use HBO Max again.

To test for you: I opened a private browser window and it requested that I log in and everything worked okay.
