Getting off my family plan

I currently have a family plan with my dad and my brother but I have not been in contact with my dad for a couple of months. He doesn’t pay the bills for it even though I send him money and can’t get ahold of him to take me off of the family plan. Is there anyway I can get taken off?

You would have to have your dad's cooperation and participation in order to take your number and use your phone on your own account. And the account has to be active and current in order for you to transfer off.   You have to be able to pass a credit check and be at least 18 years old.

If none of that sounds likely:

You can abandon the plan and your phone number and the phone and just get a new phone and a new number on your own. If you are under 18 you would have to do prepaid.
