ENJOY is the WORST

This is the worst company I ever had to deal with.  I made an ATT purchase and scheduled delivery for a Sunday morning.  Enjoy came out with no confirmation phone call to me that they were even coming, Enjoy tech went to program devices and said ATT canceled the order and left without leaving the devices and it was a gift for my wife and kids.  I called ATT fixed the order and then rescheduled with Enjoy the following Wednesday.  Again I saw nobody and got no confirmation phone call from enjoy so I called them and then they told me again they would have to reschedule.  What a piece of crap of a company.  Do not use these freaking clowns.  Do your self a favor and drive to an ATT store and pick up the devices yourself it will save you a bunch of time and heartache!!

They are so horrible! I don’t even have the energy to write my story right now. I just wanted my phone delivered in the mail - Cell phones aren’t new I can set it up myself.  If this is a COVID tactic just set up some outdoor kiosks at your stores AT&T.

I absolutely would NEVER recommend this company.  I ordered my phone and had it delivered to the AT&T store because of delivery issues at my home address.  I had no idea that Enjoy was doing this.  I was just ordered that way.  I got texts that morning telling me everything was still on schedule - then another saying the Enjoy person would be there shortly.  I waited for over an hour then texted back that I was waiting and goy a response with a phone number to call.  I then checked my appointment online and it indicated that my appointment was cancelled because they "had not heard back" from me.  I called the number and attempted to reschedule.  They indicated that they would not deliver to an AT&T store.  I told them that they should let people know that upfront.  Then I tried giving them my home address - the zip code was "invalid".  I gave them a second home address with a different zip code (my one address has no street delivery and the second address with a different zip code does...) and that zip code was invalid.  The ATT rep got on the phone and asked if they could meet me at thr Target store in the same shopping center and they said yes.  The zip code (completely different and in a major city) for that store was invalid.  I pointed out that the ATT store had the same zip code.  I was left with no option but to cancel the order - at which time I was informed that it may take 7 - 10 business days for the money to be credited back to my card.  I spent $1200, have no new device and they will keep my money for two weeks.  This company is absolute crap.

Enjoy Expert delivery is such an unpleasant experience I’m moving all of my wireless service to  a different vendor. I have had 3 devices delivered by Enjoy in the last two. They’ve gotten more aggressive in changing the service plan or insisting they have to context to my home network for 10 minutes  in order to activate the phone.  I made the mistake of handing the Enjoy deliver person my driver license which I thought he requested to verify I was the person who placed the order.  Nope he took it so  because I wouldn’t let him connect to my home network and I didn’t want him to activate my phone. I only wanted the phone. He claimed since I wouldn’t let him connect to my home network he needed to activate remotely and that would take 10 minutes.  At this point I said “give me my driver license and leave”. He refused.  He sat in his car for in his car for 10 minutes.  I sat on my porch in 20 degree weather contemplating calling the police. To my surprise  at the five minute mark he emerged from his car with an unopened iphone box and my driver license.  He gave my my driver license and not activated phone and said “next time if you don’t want expert set-up  have UPS deliver it”.

I'm not sure why changing providers makes sense. You requested their service; seems strange to get upset because they tried to provide it.

I agree with the other posters here (except for the "ACE" who criticized a customer for complaining.)

Worst experience I have ever had with AT&T, who set my order up to be delivered by Enjoy without my knowledge. After insisting with an AT&T rep on the phone, I finally was able to contact Enjoy in a three-way call, asked them to deliver to a store, they said, no we cannot, so I told them to just drop the phone off at my home. They agreed, no problem, I didn't even have to be present or sign.

Then TWO reps hours earlier than scheduled from Enjoy came out in two private unmarked vehicles, one of them a huge black Merdedes SUV, and they both blocked my driveway as if it were a raid on my home.

My neighbor saw them, thought I had died and was being hauled off to a mortuary. They stayed in their vehicles ten minutes, came to my door, I told them just leave the new phone on the porch. They scanned my ID, went to their vehicles, where they spent nearly 15 minutes "processing" my order. The Enjoy rep also let us believe she was an AT&T employee. Right!

I am considering returning the phone and switching providers as a result of the way this transaction was handled. 

By the way, "Enjoy" was founded by a self-proclaimed miracle marketer who was supposedly a VP at Apple. It is ironic beyond belief that the link Enjoy sent to me took me to their UNSECURED website, which my antivirus stopped and which led me to think it was a scam. Which, after all the foul-ups, non-compliance with schedules and requests from the customer, and deceptive tactics, it is. The purpose of their existence (may it end soon) is clearly stated on their website. Using help to setup your phone, they will also "offer" you accessories, etc.

Icing on the cake, not five minutes after the ENJOY folks left my home, I received an email from I am not even sure now, directly from Asurion, I believe, welcoming me to their "Protech" phone insurance plan. That was very nice of them to inform me that I would be paying 

$17 monthly for insurance that I DID NOT REQUEST!

I hope AT&T wises up and at the very least, informs their customers of this relationship with Enjoy, and at best, stops doing business with them. It is damaging their reputation and creating distrust, with this soon-to-be former customer.

I'll criticize you for complaining, too. They did exactly what you wanted! Other than misrepresenting herself as an AT&T employee, what did they do wrong? Drive a car you don't like? 

I would never voluntarily use the service either, but even though you weren't given a choice, give all the actual horror stories I've heard about Enjoy, you seemed to have a really fine experience. 

Enjoy has nothing to do with the insurance being added, that was don't by the original salesperson. It's pretty common to add it by default since it can always be removed, but it can't always be added later. It's easy to remove if you log into your account online.
