Don't waste your time with ATT promos

I kid you NOT, ATT just did the same thing to me. It started last July 2022. I decided to trade my phone in and use their promo of 800 off in a new phone. Sent mine in through my local post office and just like you, it says stuck in transit. After getting the run around with ATT for over 6 months and them promising the credits would come every month because I'd call, yesterday 02-16-2023 they finally said we can not give you credits on a phone they don't have in their possession. Thanks for stealing my perfectly good phone and roping me into a contract with full price payments. After this is paid, I will never do business with ATT again! Been a loyal customer for over 18 yrs....

I was told, go back to the post office and see what they can do. The post office said an att agent picked it up.

6 months must be the cut off for stringing you along they finally tell you their scam is your problem. I sent my phone in with their label. I held up my end, why couldn't ATT? scam!! To many purple are saying the same exact thing. In transit...

The post office said an att agent picked it up.

Yes, that’s how it works. The phone is picked up by the agent, usually Pitney Bowes, and they deliver it to the trade in facility. Unfortunately, getting lost in transit is a common complaint. If you have proof from the post office it got to the agent, file an FCC or BBB complaint to escalate to corporate. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you. They have resolved many such complaints.

Hi there @Jburch7611, that's not the experience we want you to have with AT&T.

Let's meet in a direct message by locating the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right-hand corner of the forums page, in order to view your account.

As @sandblaster has stated, make sure you have proof from the post office with a tracking number, so we can take a look at the tracking status of your returned device.

We look forward to assisting you with your promotion.
