Data usage high when on WiFi

I just checked my iPhone and my cellular data usage is 1.2T (crazy!) and the period isn’t even over. What’s troubling is that I’m home 95% of the time and signed into our WiFi, so why is Cellular data even being used and to this amount? Something doesn’t seem right? Help?

When was the last time you reset your data usage stats? On an iPhone the “current period” means since it was last reset, not for your billing month. If you’ve never reset, that would be since you’ve had that phone.
