Customer Service Smirk/Mock

Am an ATT subscriber since 2011 and still am loyal. Upgraded my phone to IPhone 13 this week going to the ATT store at 17500 Bloomfield Ave, Cerritos CA. Got promo discounts on it/Paid it/Easy setup and was out of the store happy.

Upon reaching home, got confused with my receipt. Since its not too late, went back to the store to ask about the charges and do an wireless charger exchange. Charlie was the customer service who we talk. Ask him in a subtle way that the receipt does not sum up with the discounts. He pointed out to me where it is applied and come up to the total, and mentioned you are not going to get additional discount since its already in the price. I clearly now understand that

My wife mentioned to me on our way home she saw his (Charlie) face with a smirk/smile while explaining/looking at me at the time am checking the receipt again. My wife said he looks like he is mocking me and my questions. Also noticed the way he talk is like he is answering a stupid question    he dont like to entertain

This is the first time and Just saying that this is not the same customer service I usually received from ATT based from my previous visit. The one we received from Charlie at the ATT Store. Hope no customers visiting that store will be treated this way

You are required to have an unlimited data plan and keep it for the full 36 months. Credits are applied against the full installment value. If you purchase the 512 gig, the net is $15, not $5.

The smirk is likely because you may have thought you knew what the deal was but apparently you didn't read it, didn't know it, and then called the employee on it, when he does, and is exhausted by customers who don't.

So Charlie answered your question and clarified the receipt, but you think you received poor service because another person told you what they thought Charlie's face looked like? Maybe you should tell your wife that Charlie was great and she must have misread his body language, instead of believing her opinion of a transaction you were part of and she was not.
