Cell service SUCKS after tower "maintenance"

Our nearest cell tower was down for "maintenance" about a month ago, and since then my normally spectacular cell service has dropped to ONE bar.  Same for my neighbors.  I've tried contacting the service center, who "reset" my sim card, which didn't help at all.

The chat function on the website doesn't load, and I literally can't make a phone call from home now, so I can't call the service center. 

I've had to have a landline installed at home, because I work from home, and my usually rock solid cell service has now made that impossible!!!

This is on Big Island Hawaii, north side of the island.
